Took my buddy Joe out for some bass fishing was throwing grubs on a jighead looking for bass he thought he was hung up and next thing you know he has a tiger on his little 6' pole with 8lb test. After fighting for about 10 mins we landed this beauty.

How are you holding that fish? By the eyes or the gills? Sorry if I ruin your day but it's just really bad to hold a fish of that size like that. It's a very good looking fish, just PLEASE learn to hold it. They can be killed easily by being held vertical, or with your hands in the gills/eyes, even if they swim away fine. Sorry, rant over. Nice catch.

that's a tiger muskie not a pike.. the stripes / pattern on the muskies are vertical while they are horizontal on a pike..

Tigers are hybrids of a northern pike and musky. They are sterile,so its important to get a quick pic and back to the water. In case anyone out there is unaware, there is a 50 inch minimum ,meaning the fish has to be at least 50 inches to retain.
