We got to Clear lake at 6:45am and started to fish about 7:15am. We finished with our limit in about 2 hours. We meaning, old girls (boat and myself), and our new fishing buddy William. This was the first time he has been in my boat and when I told him her name was Old Girl he thought that was so funny. He was the life of the old girls party boat (he said it was that), as well as the story of pirates that I got on video.
When we first got in the boat he remembered to do his fish dance! He is a great fishing buddy. He loved to catch the fish and net them. The net is heavy but he did a good job. We never lost a fish at the boat.
William caught his on a modified green wedding ring and I caught mine on Dick Nite Pink Splatter dodger and a Wannafish A Lure Rainbow and the second rod was a Les Davis 50/50 dodger and a 50/50 lure I make. William had a small weight on his line and got his in the first hour and I was down 15-30 feet with mine, catching through out the time we were there. We used corn, Berkley maggots and worms for bait. After we got our limit of Kokanee we went over to the docks and fished worms. I caught two perch but William couldn’t catch on to the concept of drowning a worm. When we left it was getting hot out and the ski boats were just coming out.

You know, I think I might have seen this lake enroute to Mt. Rainier? Anyway, kudos to you for taking a lil fish catchin' machine. He's got to be hooked for sure now.

Yes you can get to Mt. Rainier going through Eatonville which would take you right by this lake. It would be on your left.
