IK want to report that we did ok and caught about 18 before we got too tired to fish any longer. This report is more of a complaint. There have been many evenings where we have been out to fish for silvers and shared the area with several other boats who were anchored near us. There have been several nights where a red and white speed boat with slalomskier has come within 20 feet of our boat - this AFTER sundown. In fact, on a couple of occasions, he came skiing between several of our boats. Has anyone else seen this nut? He's going to hurt someone. Where can we report this dangerous routine. The guy has the whole lake and he zooms right by the group of us who are still fshing for silvers. I almost did not see him one night as I motored out to the fishing area. All I could hear is his boat engine. I have yelled out "no wake" after sundown several times yet he comes right back through us. He's doing it on purpose. It is even too dark to see his boat numbers or I would report him to the sheriff's dept. Anybody catch his boat number??

The best you can do is to call the Sheriffs department and report him. Give them the description of the boat. If they get enough complaints, they will start patrolling at night and catch him. There is a 5mph speed limit on the lake after dark.

Other than the JERK how was the fishing?

If you complain to the Stevens county sheriff eventually they will try to ticket the offender. I bet they live somewhere on the lake. Might find the boat in the daylight.

I'm sure that the boat owner has a home on the lake. I didn't see him go to the public launch.
Some of the boats fishing in the area were small car topper type boats like mine and the waves created as he speeds by within 25 feet can be quite rough..
