Arrived about 8AM at the lake and started trolling DN spoons, only 1 solid hookups and a few drive by's on that spoon, switched to a FST spoon and the bites really started to get going. Caught and released a few smaller ones, and lost a few at the boat before keeping my five 11-13 inchers in 2 hours of fishing. Most of my bites were between 28-35 feet.
I could of started fishing at 7:30 but as I was ½ way there on the freeway I remembered, my downrigger is still on my backyard deck so I had to turn back to get it. :(

Ouch! I hate when that happens, leaving at home the downriggers I mean! I almost did the same thing yesterday but fortunately I did remember them as I was about to jump in the truck. Nice report, thanks. Those fish look very chunky, is that typical of the Angle Lake kokes?

Yeah typical size of the keepers but some smaller ones too(which I rather release them), why do all the bigger ones around 14 inches keep jumping at the side of my boat and saying"see ya later" and gone--I've had about 4 about that size cracker off on me recently.

I need to learn how to catch these guys. How long of a leader?
