Went out for a couple hours after work trying to beat the incoming rain. Caught a few largemouth and to my suprise a crappie! Biggest largemouth was a fat little 2lb14ozer. The crappie was nice size i suppose, it hit my rapala like a mack truck. I was unaware of the fact that there were crappie in this lake. A fishable population? who knows.....
Sorry for the sideways bass pic. lol.

@bass hunter, all fish caught on original floating rapalas and black jigs.

I read that some guy uses black spinnerbaits, black jigs, and 6" black worms. He also wrote that he caught some bass over 5lb.

Anything black is usually a safe bet, at least for me it has produced. Seems like alot of people "catch" 5lb+ largemouth all the time out of this lake......where are the pictures/reports? maybe it is true, but talk is cheap and a big majority of the guys ive run into are just talking out their you know what.
