Drove up to the lake on Friday, July 6th but didn't get to do any fishing until Saturday morning. I started off with the regular chumming and still fishing method and had very little luck. After sitting around in the sun for about an hour, I decided to throw on a small rainbow Rapala and try trolling near the mouth of Noisy Creek. I put on two split shot weights and left about two feet of liter to the lure. As soon as I started to move, I hit a nice 12-13 inch Rainbow. After reeling him in and getting started again, I got another two hits with no results. The next morning my partner went out and hit two nice Bows the same way. They seem to really like that rainbow Rapala. He also hooked a really nice Dolly with some sparkled pink power bait next to the rock cliffs. Had to put her back in the lake but she was fun to catch. All in all, compared to the results I had with chumming and bottom fishing, I did my best trolling with my Rapala. I will return to this lake and try again soon. A really nice place.
