7/11/2011 8:36:00 PMI don't go by that chart. Nor do i go by the formula. I do not feel it does these fish any justice. When the fish is 20 inches around from the back of the head to the dorsal fin/ anal fin thats about 2 1/2 feet of pure weight in itself. Plus the head. I weighed my net wet with a digital scale so i have that figured out. I just do not weigh the muskies we put in the net. Its a fatty (on the left) probably is close to weight record but the fish still isnt 50 inches so until I/we put one in the net I won't worry about it too much. Anything over 40 is what I am looking for mostly. Thats just me. I appreciate your comment for sure and so does my pal that caught the freak. Wiscony..those fish are from Merwin. We fished Merwin Saturday evening and I used small baits. Got the 40 + on Sunday morning. When I fished Wisconsin back in June we were between Crandon and Laona. About 45 minutes S.E. of Rhinelander. Thats where I finally got it in my thick skull to fish big baits. Just didnt actually do it till the next morning. And it paid off..Thats what I meant Wiscony. Sorry bout that.. Thanks guys. Todd
