Left the Boathouse at about 4:30 and trolled to our fishing spot and got there around 5:00AM. The fish were going crazy as soon as we got to the right spot. My friend (screamingeagle) got his limit in under an hour, I was trying some new bait and decided it wasnt working so once I switched back to our normal I limited quit quickly. we were in 80 feet of water and a trolling depth of 32 feet. We were using our normal setup (the uncle bill) mini shrimp with two hooks, top hook corn bottom hook 2 maggots, slingblade dodger and a 8 inch leader. We have caught over 200 Kokanee so far this year with this setup. The last fish I hooked was my largest this year. It was 15.25 inches long and weighed in at 1.25 pounds. Our average fish is 13 inches and about .90 of a pound so this one felt pretty good.
