Finally got out of the smaller tiger musky slump. Its been a great year for numbers but not so much in quality for me. Hit the water this AM with muskyhunter,shortly after taking off,he had a couple follows but can't recall on which baits. Later we headed over to a pile of stumps and I pulled up a decent largemouth bass. Been fishing Tapps for years,I've seen lmb but never caught one myself out of here. She hit on a perch pattern super shad rap. Had a few hits and two solid hookups with smallies but both spit the hooks and both were not very large. Finally,got a follow from a large tiger musky and was able to turn her into a figure 8,where she took a good swipe but leave it to my short arms to turn the bait a little to hard and she swam off but a few minutes later and she came out of nowhere and inhailed my crankbait(same super shad as the lmb)
She went 43x19. Water temps ranged from 63-70
