Went up to rimrock yersterday and fished off the point. Caught my limit within 2 hours. Was fishing about 4 feet deep. I also caught a dandy trout that I would consider a rimrock lake trout. 25" long and wieghed 5 pounds. It was a beast and faught hard. took 20 minutes to land and broke my pole. Also caught three more trout minimum 15".

You can catch a 14# trout on 4# test if you have patience and adjust your drag accordingly without breaking your rod. Been there, done that.

Great! I caught a 15# 30" Kokanee their two days ago. No joke! I ended up at the lake by accident and was more than thrilled when I landed the beast. I figured I would catch a nice trout or two but never did I think I would catch a 30" salmon! I will return to this lake again, for sure. I have a portable fish finder and there was several schools of large fish (30-50) near the bottom at 90-110 feet. Delicious!!
