Well, I just cannot keep these monsters off of my line! This Musky measured 42in long. Here's the story. I finally got home from school, and decided to do some bank fishing from my secret location. There was nothing on the point, so I moved into the shallower water which has several weedbeds in it. This would turn out to a fishermans worst nightmare and greatest dream. The fish took my lucky chug bug, with a huge splash, and sliced through my 10lb mono. I quickly seized up the situation. I had no more top water lures at my immediate disposal, and I really didn't want to lose my lucky chug bug, so I ran back to my house, and launched the canoe. It only took several minutes to retrieve my lure, it had floated down wind. My only fear was that the fish would strike the lure again while it was not attached to my line, luckily that didn't happen! So I paddled the canoe back and retied the lure on my line. And wouldn't you know, the fish hit it again! They aren't fighting as well as they were in the summer, it is getting colder. I sent the picture also, so check it out, it is the one with me wearing pants, standing in the water, holding up the tigermusky. tight lines, Max Walker.
