So my dad came over this weekend to help me move some stuff into my new place so he brought the boat over so we could do some fishing today. We decided to go to Potholes because he wanted to catch some walleye. We headed out and started fishing in the Lind Coulee at about 6:30 AM. We started fishing the island with walleye worm harnesses. After about an hour-hour and a half my dad got a bite but he had the worm setup too far off the hook and it took half the worm and was off. At about 9 we decided to move up to the crab creek area and started fishing, ended up not getting any bites up there and went down to the Mardon area to try trolling for trout for 45 minutes messing around and got nothing. So we decided to go back into the Lind Coulee and saw some guys who needed help so we had to tow them all the way back to the state park. Then we headed back to Lind Coulee to try trolling the island area and finally caught one, we kept trolling the area for an hour and half and picked up 3 more walleye along some dropoffs. All the fish came on my setup, which wasn't any diff then my dad's rather than he had 2 hooks on his setup and also I was using a slow death hook for the worm harness. I guess the day before the fishing was good in the Lind Coulee but I'm guessing the low pressure that came in last night might've thrown the morning bite off.
