Was hanging out at my friend's house in Newport shores, decided to fish off his dock for a bit. Started jigging a 3inch grub, felt some action, but new my lure was too big. I decided to not be picky and started throwing an orange rooster tail. In a half hour I pulled out ten fish all around nine or ten inches. Half of the fish were pikeminnow, but the other half were a similar looking fish that I had had to look up. apparently these fish are called peamouth, the look a lot like pike minnow, but are skinnier and have smaller mouths. Has anybody else caught this fish on lake Washington?

Not long ago a Peamouth from L.W. created quite a few comments. IMHO you are correct!

Yes I believe it was my peamouth chub that had the comments. I'm still fishing Lake Washington and still catching them. LOL at least now I know what it is. I never seen one before that day, yet now i'm hearing and seeing them all over. Happy fishing

I had heard of them before but had never seen one caught in LW, now in the past week me and my buddies have pulled out something like twenty of them, maybe there was a population boom of some kind

I have caught at least 50 (not exagerating) peamouth chubs on lake WA!
