went to Rufus for four days of fishing , our best day was Friday the 10th . trolled with flys mostly , so we were able to do catch and release . plenty of fish to be caught that day . i would give you the number , but you probably wouldn't believe me . funny though , went out the next day and caught hardly nothin' . same spots , same gear . did spot a Cougar up by pump two . the bigger fish in this picture was 7 lbs. 12 ozs. , my brother caught that one and i caught the other . all in all a good four days of fishing .

What section of the river were you guys fishing? Where did you launch? Just curious as to whats the best end of the river right now, lower or upper.

we launched at the campgrounds in Bridgeport and caught the biggest fish around pump two and about a half mile down river from there . people were catching them everywhere and on everything .

Heading up there first of next week, toss up for Bridgeport or Elmer City, any recommendations folks?

My vote would be Elmer - but - the fish are all the way down to B-port. And cheif joe and the rest of the dams are spilling like crazy!! Soon they will be in Wenatchee..
