Stopped by to do some bank fishing in the afternoon, hoping to get some "quiet" water after the ski boat's had left. I tried the good ol'e bobber and worm to no availe, after most of the boat's had stopped "cruising at about 4....(a lil past kerfew for them) I switched to a set up of a white, yes white pwr bait and had several thieves mkae off with it. the ticket was a yellow garlic mello and orange pwr bait, on about a 2 ft leader ahead of a 3/4 ounce egg sinker. From 4:30-6 landed and released 7, 12-14 inch planted rainbows.
I did keep 2 for dinner measuring 16 and 18 inches respectively.
I'm looking forward to putting my canoe and trolling motor to use this week end. Will get back to you all with an up date some time next week. Happy fishing and take as much trash as your pocket's or bag will hold.
