First time posting a report. Username refers to the many times I have come close to falling out of the boat. We got out on the water around 6:30 and wrapped up around 12:30. We started out with Orange Wedding Rings with a silver flasher. No bite. We tipped with power bait, no luck. We then tipped with worm and success! We caught 8 between us, all around 14". All were C&R'd. We also employed the same tactic with a dicknite 50/50 red/silver and it worked just as well. We trolled at variable speeds and all worked well. Water was 58 and the weather was overcast. The lake was calm. It was our first time to this lake and it's small but fun to be on, very peaceful and not very many homes on it. Lot's of fish on the fishfinder at the bottom sitting at 22 feet. People were also fishing for LMB but I didn't see anyone pull anything out. They were on the fish finder, just being stubborn. I would love feedback as to what you all would like on my posts. Not to many postings from Skagit. I go out about 2-3 times a month and fish Clear, Big, and McMurray primarily. Been spreading the word about the site. Great tool. Gearing up for Bass this year and it will be my first.

nice report, this lake is one of my favorites. next time try a worm and a bobber around sunset, i was slaying them last year doing this about this time of year and they were all around 16inches. for me it is a lot faster limit than trolling around. anyway something to think about next time. good luck

Your'e right in the area... you should give Cavanaugh a try. It is a great Kokanee lake. Has cutts. also, but I find them to be skinny and stunted.

Thanks for the comments and reading my post. I will give the bobber a try next time and I have been hearing Cavanaugh is a good lake to fish. I'll definitely try it this year. I just purchased a Kokanee rod this year too.
