My buddy Tony and I didnt make it to Myron until about noon on Saturday due to me getting off work Friday at midnight.We trolled around in my jon boat for a little over an hour or so before the rain drove us off the lake.I Pulled my usual offering,a Daiwa SC Shiner in rainbow trout with a small siwash hook on the back.I put a small swivel between the split ring and the hook.Tony pulled some sort of spoon.Right off the bat I caught a really nice healthy looking bow about 17-18 inches which I shook off by the side of the boat.we then made it halfway around the lake when wham.I hooked into a 6 1/2 pound brooder.Man this fish was nice and bright so I decided to keep it.The only problem was I didnt bring a net because I didnt plan on keeping anything.Tony lipped it like a bass and tossed in in the boat.
