Saturday was overcast,slightly windy and ocassional light rain. Caught 1 fish. I've been told it's a Mackinaw. Can anyone confirm that by looking at my son's picture? I didn't know Riffe Lake had any Mackinaw in it.

Its a squawfish, and they eat baby bass, so I hope you whacked it on the head a few times, or tossed in on the beach.

looks like a big northern pikeminnow aka squawfish like most of the people already mentioned, great catch though :D but yeah, they are a nuissance fish, i typically feed the small ones to the blue herrons that wait on the docks at lake wa, waiting to be fed :D

A really, really nice squawfish!! Used to catch those at the bridge by Taidnapamas a kid!! Never seen one that big though!!
