Quick trip, quick report: Jigs outdid topwater by a little, even though I spent more time fishing topwater. Dark jigs with trailer, floater/divers. Single pontoon, brush. No pix this time.
about a dozen dinks, 14 bass over 15," with a beautiful football at 23 1/2" (Biggest this year)
and she was on topwater! (Yes, C&R!), 3 crappie around 12" and various panfish on my lawful second rod, with worms on a small jig. Fun in about 4.5 hours!

Nice to hear someone had good luck. We hit the dunes on the evening of the 16th for a few hours and the wife caught a 4lb LM and I though we were gonna have a great trip. For the whole next day we had no bites and neither did the other boat that was with us. Changed up today and tried for SM down around Lind Coulee, friends caught one small one and that was it. On the bright side I did get some quality time learning my electronics and some of their features.

Skeeter: Yeah, I tried the wasteway a bit ago, with little result. The lind coullee and crab creek areas seem better at the moment. The big island and its environs are kicking out a few fair walleye, and some decent smallmouth.

I'm headed over tomorrow (20th) sounds like things are looking up. I'm new to bass and walleye so I welcome all information and suggestions.

Nice job!!
