My son, grandson and I spent a couple of hours from noon to about 2:00 fishing from the east shore along the trail. We were setting the worms about 6 to 10 feet below the bobbers. Together we caught two tiger trout and two brook trout. They were in the 12 to 16 inch range. One of the brookies had been caught by an osprey and wounded by the talons and then released. The wounds had not scarred yet but were scabbing over. They were delicious. These were our first fresh trout of the season, so we had to celebrate.

It may very well have been the same fish, unless you did not release your catch. We cut out the wounded areas making sure no bloody areas were left in the meat. Even the little ones liked the taste.
