The Swenson's wanted a bunch of Kokanee so I got to host another 3 generation fishing trip. We just pounded the area from Lakeside to Chelan Shores. The most productive pattern was about 20 feet down over a 50 foot bottom. The kokanee are really stacked in there. We used Mack's Kokanee Pro Wedding Rings in red and green baited with Pautzke's Fire Corn. There was a slight preference for yellow (maybe), but red and orange got bit too. We also caught fish on the mini Cha Cha Squidders. Attractors were Flash Lites, 000 and 0000 chrome and chrome scale dodgers. Hot Wings also worked. Speed varied from 1.1 to 1.6 mph. I'd say that 1.2 to 1.4 was the "sweet spot". It seemed that dropping a bit deeper as the day wore on helped too. Another rainy day in paradise...
