I decided to head out to Panther and enjoy some sunshine. I arrived at the lake at 0830 and started off bass fishing some docks on the south end and worked my way towards the west end. The wind was blowing but was managable. I got a couple bites on my cinnamon brown 6.5" Yamamoto Kutail Worm. I switched to a Owner Yuki Bug and felt a tap and set the hook. The fish made one big jump and I only seen a big white belly then it came off. I switched to a black 6.5" Yamamoto Kutail Worm and as I was reeling it in a large fish chased it to the boat. I couldn't see if it was a bass or trout. I headed to the west end of the lake to try for some trout. The wind picked up and was blowing hard. I anchored out and made a cast. It only took about 5 minutes to get a fish. Then they came one after another until I reached my limit. Most of the fish were 8-10" but they fought well. I was using red berkley power eggs with some trout dip for some extra flavor. It was a good day on the water!
