Got out to the lake around 6 pm, we launched at allen york park on the south end of the lake. Water temp was about 56 degrees, we fish the south end in the north end. The north end what is about two degrees warmer and produce a lot more fish. There were 3 of us on the boat And we each landed 3. Half the fish we caught, we had to feed it to them before we can set the hook and the other half slammed are bait really hard. It was nice to see that the smallmouth being aggressive. The largest 1 caught with just under 3 pounds but average size was about a pound and a half. The smallmouth are moving up to their spawning grounds but did not see and beds fanned out. Wii fishing for total of 4 hours. Overall good little trip after work.

First of all I DID NOT keep the fish. I simply caught them and then keep them in my live well so that I could take that picture. I didn't kill any of them and also I released them all back in the same area I caught them. So FRANK I did NOT screw up the fish population and thanks for jumping the gun and trying to give me a bad name for screwing up the fish population. I fish for the sport and only do catch and release. FRANK this is for you (Read what the website says about posting negative comments about peoples posting). Get over yourself Frank

Yeah Frank, What people choose to do is there business. He is doing us all a service by sharing his fishing experience with us. If the law says he can keep 40 fish a day and all he does is feed them to his dogs... who gives a darn! If you have a problem with certain species being kept then take it up with your local F&W office... not the angler. I give him props for releasing but wouldnt discredit him if he didnt. Thanks for contributing to the death of our "smart local angler" population. We could all do without Frank's of the world... you know... "invasive species".

Thanks Joe, I was pissed when I seen his comment. I wanted to take pictures of all the fish so I could post them on this site so people could see. You are exactly right that we could do without guys like FRANK!!!!.
Thanks again for your support
