Still haven't caught the first 2011 bass... drat! Fished from 0700-1400 ish. Didn't have anything that I would label a bite all day. Threw jigs of various colors, senkos, shakey heads, and even a spinnerbait as a hail mary... nothing. Oh well, one of these days. Did meet a bunch of bassers from the Western Bass Club (was wonderin why so many bassboats were out in the hurricane force winds with me). Thanks for the chili dog guys and gals! Oh and did I mention the wind... good golly the wind! Worst I've seen in all my Long Lake trips. Until next time, good luck out there everyone, and watch out for big submerged loose rock at boat launches, I almost had a REAAALLY bad day when i was beaching my boat in the morning. I would have moved the darn thing if I had waders with me. Ocktane out.
