3 lakes, 2 hrs fishing, about 120 casts and 118 fish. Get the kids/grandkids cuz it's panfish time. Seriously, only came in twice with no fish, and the dozen I kept were all 9-12 inches, mostly bluegill, with some crappie. Biggest was a 13" crappie. Didn't seem to matter what jig I threw at them. Fun on ultralight! If you want to eat some fish with no guilt, thinning these a bit won't hurt anything. Oh, one was a bass about 13" (C&R, obviously)

Are you bluegill spawning in your area already?

starting to in the lower Yakima valley. Upper Valley not so much. Caught several perch today that were milting. The panfish were less cooperative and smaller, but I still caught over 60, and a couple of verry nice crappie, and one bluegill about a pound.

Which pond? I'd like to get into those crappie. A 13"er would be nice on ultralight or flyrod!

Pnds 1, 4, and 5 have nice crappie, and Myron and Rotary have decent numbers.
