Nice day, wife and I decided to catch some fish in the sun for a change, limited in about 4 hrs. Big fish was a rainbow of 3 lbs, 9 ozs. A brood stock cut was one of the biggest cuts I've ever caught, 3 others were cuts but very red holdovers.Tried to upload photo but was unsucessful, don't know what the problem was , waited to post, but photos never loaded. Rest of our limits were smaller rainbows, but recent stockers.We tried to get to Stump Lake bur the Port Blakely tree farm(which owns the property)has changed policy to only allow walk-ins, which from what i understand about this small brush choked lake is that it's best fished from a boat. Does anyone know how far from the gate is it to the lake? Thanks in advance for any info. Bob R

Shoot, I was planning to check that lake out. I too would like to know how far a walk. Backpack pontoons only I guess. I thought if DFW planted a lake on private land, the owner has to provide some access. I know some gates get locked later in the season, but I have never known one to be locked on the opener. TF

Actually found it today but did not fish it as we wanted to bring our canoe. Access is not at the end we thought it would be, but we atre hitting it in the A.M. weather permiting.It's an unmarked dirt road off of Cloquallum Rd., rough condition road, cartop or SMALL trailers with 4 wd., limited parking, SMALL lake. We'll report tomorrow. Bob R.
