Lord of the Fly offered me shotgun in his canoe to get out on Bitter Lake this morning at 7am. I was conflicted, morning fishing for me has not been very productive yet once you're on a boat, it's a whole different thing.

Nonetheless, we were out on the water and i was learning how to troll a wedding ring freestyle. Initally, i had a tipped mine with a very small yellow and white plastic grub tail. While LOTF had a custom fly wedding ring hybrid which was getting a lot of bites. I eventually swapped the grub with a berkley power worm in natural color and sooner after started getting bites.

The bite picked up at around 8:30 - 9 and we boat 6 or 7 that morning, all rainbow betwee 8-11 in

fun times! Thanks Lord of the Fly fo the boat ride and manning the oars.
