Well, I've been having an excellent season, so far. My wife had to study for her state RN's license exam and was working. I have been trying to get her out to enjoy some of the nice fish that I have been catching in various lakes throughout our area. Finally, today, I got her out.

Now, I took a back seat because I wanted her to catch the fish. Tried a speed course on some tactics that I have picked up on. A couple hours in she caught a decent little largemouth and then about 4 docks later she pick up a beautiful 3 1/2 pound smallie that was so fat I thought it was gonna burst right there in my boat.

None-the-less, a beautiful day, a beautiful fish and my wonderful wife. It was a great day!

Woohoo for Mrs. Arnie!! Great job...something tells me that we will see lots of pics of you at that lake in the future Arnie. Water looks really nice, amd fishing with that blue sky above you is a nice change.

Those are great pictures! What a nice bronzer. Looks bigger than 3.5 in the photo. Thank you for the report.

Lol. The blue sjy was welcome even though still pretty cold in the morning, as you can see, she is pretty bundled up.

I guessed the fish at 3# even but it was super fat. Should have taken a picture with the fish turned. It look like it had a softball in there. My scale put it at 3 pounds 7 ounces:)
