This is a multiple day report as I've been out to this lake each day since my last report about a week ago.

The planted rainbows seem to have finally disperssed throughout the lake making it more fishing and less catching (kind of a good thing really). I have been getting fish consistently either by the boat launch in 12'-16' or in the back end in water a little deeper. It seems that trolling with a black rooster tail, a chartruese wedding ring, or a worm under a bobber all produce about the same, a limit of fish in 2-4 hours time. The water level also seems to have stabalized for now, not quite accessible for shore fishing, but still enough water to get a boat out. These next couple days of warm weather should turn the cutt's on a bit more in my opinion, as I've been mostly catching 'bows.

Even if you don't get any fish, it's still an enjoyable time. The Eagles and Osperys have been having a good time the last few days on this lake, and they're always fun to watch.

I've also had a couple questions about the taste of the cutts compared to the planted rainbows, and IMO the cuts taste quite a bit better. I tend to smoke the bows, and fry/grill/broil the cutts.

Also, I finally got a digital camera, so hopefully my next few reports from the lake will have pics.
