beautiful day as for weather tried alot of bait. im reporting more than fish though. cant really explain it but there is at least one new widow maker sticking out on the south side far end. water was a foot down from crest lines on shore and this jagged saw tooth tip is hanging out 8- 10' out of the water if there was wind the day we went i may not have seen it. earth movement or what I dont know but this has not been there before. keep your eyes open the rock stories are not stories. spooked me a bit. be safe

Rock has been bad news this winter. I am not sure where you saw it, but was the cliff above it disturbed?

I know of three locations on Rock this winter where the extreme rains and freeze/thaw cycle has taken a toll. Most of the time the cliff caves off, leaving a super loud noise, sometimes waves, and a new scar on the cliffs. A friend of mine was with me when we heard one and saw the rock dust and water mist. Fortunately it was a mile or so away when it happened.

i hadn't thought of that it is possible. didnt pay alot of attention to the cliffs i was busy checking it out and around the new rock. gratefull it was calm which as you know is rare. we were in 200 ft of water range though??/peralps a pillar busted of and went down like a tree straight down lol it could be at rock.

well at Rock you can be in 300 feet of water and jump off the side of the boat and land in 2 feet of water.
