Made my first visit to this lake and I must say not sure if I will return. The north end bay is about the only good fishing spot on this lake and the fish havent moved into that area yet. Water temp started out at 46 and by noon was up to 50. Went home after 4 hours and not a single bite.

fished there today myself and as the weather was great I think of this shallow lake to be on the same as silver lk. It was a nice day but with the water being high I hit alot of weeds and no fish. The deepest part was at 16 feet. This lake is dead as far as I am concerned. If your looking for perch or other spiney fish go for it.

I also was there today and worked the south end and the 3/4 the way up the length to the north not a fish one seen a few but hooked nothing . But we did end up getting the ratchet straps stolen out of the back of pickup...... So imagine how pissed we were a day out on the lake was nice but no fish then find out some a hole took our straps.. If yall see anyone with a set of camo ratchetstraps gloating and braggin about them bop em upside the head for me .. lol

keep ya linez tight

Fishing on Eloika doesnt get really good till usually the end of April and all of May. I fished the middle of the week and hit a few fish in a few hours. Dont give up on it just cause the weather was nice out on sat and fishing sucked, we actually got snow on thursday and friday up here. We all know what cold fronts do the fishing around here. Ill keep a eye out for your straps bigboy that sucks. Good fishing and good luck everyone....
