Fished for Macks and Silvers for a few hours Thursday Morn. Hadn't been out in a while and felt kinda rusty. Wind was blowing fairly strong with whitecaps and gusts. Trolled for Macks in lower lake with no bites, then tried Silvers in front of the Blue Roofed Condos and lower toward Lakeside. With the wave action be as it was, it was hard for me to detect the bites, but boated 4 before heading in to the launch. There were several active fish, so a person should be able to come up with a limit with a little work. I just had to be available for a claims adjuster to look at our rig, so cut the fishing short. Of the four, they ranged from 8" to 10", and all of them were quite slim. Not much girth on them. I butterflied them and the made a tasty addition to supper. Slow troll (1 - 1 1.2 MPH seemed to be the favored speed, and I got the most hits on a green wedding ring set up. I tried red, chrome, silver wedding rings, and also a chrome apex. The rings were behind FlashLite attractors, and tipped with corn. A day without wave action and wind shouls provide a fun day chasine silver here on the lake. Just expect to catch small ones. Safe trips and tight lines everyone.
