More of an information report. Water temp was 47-49F. Pads are maybe 25% out of the water, with 75% still yet to break the surface. Fished about 2.5 hours and boated the year's first bass, a solid keeper that came on a soft plastic. A really nasty storm came in and ended the day early.

Question for you. Is the lake conducive for launching a 20 foot bass boat?

I would say right now you could probably get away with it. Later in the year probably not. I have a 17.5 foot aluminum V hull and I launched easily. The access road has a very narrow gate at the end; my trailer has about 12-15 inches on either side, so that's something to consider as well. The gate is V shaped so as long as your tires fit through the boat will too. You're going to have to really crawl it through there though. GPS is a must with a large boat because only about 10% of lake is deeper than 4-5 feet.

I WAS OUT THERE 2 WEEKS AGO WITH 3 OTHER FULL SIZED RANGERS . IF YOU MIND THE CHANNELS NO PROB IN A BIG BOAT .
