Punched in about 3 or so hours on Tapps in search of a tiger musky or two.
Just worked a few coves from Allan Yorke and northward and never crossed to the eastside.
Tossed a variety of gliders, bucktails and slow rolling a spinnerbait. No hookups, didn't see or even smell a fish. Saw a few boats out, spoke to a few that were out bass fishing and they also reported similar results as myself. The wind was steady but around 3:30 mother nature kicked it up a few knotches and white caps were visible on the main channels of the lake, however, the coves were still pretty calm. Depending on which areas you head too,the water has alot of silt
in some places, such as the south end of Interlake but other areas are very clear. The water level
is still a few feet short of full pool but boat launching is pretty easy. April 15th is the date set for Lake Tapps to reach full status but if the water flow continues at the same rate,I would expect it
to be at full pool much sooner. No luck on the fish but still good to be out instead talking/wishing to be fishing. Might give Tapps or Mayfield a shot again tomorrow.
