Randy and Sandra Woodson were nice enough to go fishing with us on Saturday. It wasn't the easiest of days, but they got to take a nice bunch of lakers home. We pounded the trench early and got a some fish with Kingfisher lite spoons in Chartreuse Splatterback. Then we moved to Manson Bay and fished some cha cha squidders baited with pieces of Northern Pikeminnow. In the trench depths of 205 to 225 worked best with speeds of 1.4 to 1.7 mph. On Manson Bay look for depths of 165 to 190 and slow down to 1.2 to 1.4 mph. It snowed early, but cleared up and turned into a nice day with very little wind. Another day in paradise...
