Took a stroll down to the fishin hole for some urban angling action. Fished from 11:30 to 1:30. Mainly stayed just north of the paddle boat rental dock, spin casting a little silver/pink/blue bluefox spinner. Took about 30 minutes to dial it in, but then it was pretty easy pickins for little 6-9 inch rainbow trout. A very slow retrieve was the trick. There seemed to be a big school right there close to shore, and sometimes I saw 6 or 10 fish following my lure. Several other guys were fishin in the same spot catching many like I. Ended up releasing about 13 fish, and got many more strikes without hookups or self-releases. Nice partly sunny day, with breeze at times. Would have taken photos, but the camera battery was out of juice. Good action, good times.
