Took my step-son out for a spin with our new motor we just bought. It was really fun. Trolled on the far side of the lake maybe 40yds out from shore across from the public launch. Nothin, not a bite? First time on the lake, read the latest reports and decided to give it a shot. Any pointers?

I've never caught a fish n this lake including right after they have planted the trout. I was surprised by the last report.

I believe I saw you out there. I was on the grey raft with my friend.

On some forums people post pictures of the fish they actually catch. I've fished Cassidy several times, over the past few years, and the fishing has always been marginal at best. Whenever the state has dumped fish in the lake, the locals see the truck and have caught a majority of the trout before the state has had a chance to update their website. I have talked to guys who have a good time fishing for bass, but the lake is extremely shallow (I think the deepest part is 14 feet) and just doesn't seem to be able to support trout for very long. I'd think you'd have a better chance catching something on Lake Stevens, Roesiger, or Flowing.
