So, on Fri. I caught some guys breakin in to my truck at the river(long story). Since my window was still missing, and I wanted to fish I went to Whitman cuz I could watch my car from my boat. Luckily I recovered all of my stuff except one of my lamiglas poles was broken in process.
I didn't take my sonar but I assume water was in mid 40's, air temp was the same. I just fished points and docks with a purple wacky rigged 4in. senko. I made repeated casts to same spots. A dock close to boat launch looked good with some old pads so I would just slowly pull through pads and then just barely felt a tap so I set and felt a fish. It ended being just over 3lbs. That is a lot better than I expected. I just got a new camera and had operator error and my phone won't save pics.
The fish are in there still just a lot tougher to catch, so go test ur skill and patience. I'm glad I didn't let my car getting broke into stop my trip.
