At first I wanted to go crabbing and salmon fishing in area 10, but then I changed my mind due to good perch fishing reports on the lakes around, and decided to go deep (sea) fishing for perch. With my friend we lunched the boat in Kirkland around 9 or so, and fished the area in about 70 feet. Water was glass, no wind at all. Water temp around 46. We used nighgcrawlers on a drop shot rig that gave us a 5 star success. The fish are right on the bottom and average size about 8-9 inches. They are fat and many. We even got a monster. Did take a little perch break and trolled for an hour to see if the cutts are biting. We hooked one 17” and 3 kokes. Fun day. Wish I could upload more pictures. Go get them and post it!

Bring in the NFL....those perch are on performance enhancers! Nice! Get out the rye bread and tartar sauce, as Niehaus might say!!!

Trollman: Fish were right on top of the water jumping. I was 10' deep.
