so got the boat work'n....kinda.....but couldnt stand it i had to get out there and see what the Kok's looked like this time of year....drop'd a dodger with a "squidy thang" 10" behind it as i swung the boat away from the ramp....couldnt hardly stand it/wait....my 'ol broke bk is tired of slip slide'n on river banks and chase'n bambi over hill 'n dale...so get this..water flat as glass bout 1/2 the time i was out there...sun so bright i had to take my coat off OMG.....so i'm rig'n up my other pole with a popgear/wedding ring for trout when the dodger pole starts dance'n....YESSSSSS....no....lololol...10 inch 1/2 nic 1/2 brass dodger..catch a 5.5 inch rainbow!!!!...lolol...so got both poles rig'd 'n took off again...so that's how it went...caught trout on the kok gear 'n kok's on the popgear wut the heck....had some misses 'n CR'd a few...was just me and the wife for dinner so only kept the 2(pics)...sorry i didnt get a pic right away of the kok u guys...was the most beeeeaauutiful magenta color ya ever saw....trout was 13" 'n fattt..bright red meat...the kok...well the pics tell its story....and its meat was still bright read too...i was surprized how red 'n firm he was...cleaned him and put him on ice rrrright away but the skin whited out anyways arrrggg...(both tasted grrreat) LOLOL...water temp was 57 deg(check out forums for "THERMOCLINOMETER" report if your interested).....sooo a good time was had by all(cept the 2 that went in the box)....Tight Lines 'n Strong Knots....DOG

Thanks for the report. The koke looks bad...glad it tasted good. Why do you think it changed from red to white? I have had fish darken up after they die and then when iced they brighten up.

a PS for those folks that like to try fish'n with feathers 'n fur tied to their hook....hatch of the day was spiders!!! 1000s of the lil buggers fly'n around....colors were white to light almost lime green....bout 3:30 i noticed bugs fly'n and on the water and they were SKEETERS.....DOG
