Went to tapps hoping for a good day before the close, but no such luck. When I arrived, there was heavy fog. My wife and I could only see about 50 yards or so and I told her I was worried about a bass boat running into us or getting lost in fog. Guess what, maybe ten minutes after launching a bass boat almost hit us. The guy was goin about 20 or so and missed us by about 30 feet. After that we got lost in fog. We eventually found shore, but were about a half mile away from were we thought. Luckily I knew where we were and it was a point. On first cast my wife caught one on d-shot and that was the only fish. Once the fog lifted enough to see she was ready to go.
If pics post, I used a tape measure and marked out to 23 in. the 9 in. mark is for bluegill, crappie and perch. I put those marks on there about a year ago, it makes for a good qiuck measure. The bass my wife caught was just over 15 in. and weighed in at 1.10.
