I have figured out how to catch trout on Fish Lake since my last post. I have been out almost everyday for the last week and have caught my limit almost each day I was out. I found the fish only about 10' off shore using half a night crawler and a powerbait marshmellow on the bottom. The last two days the water level was rising very quickly and I was forced to use the same bait but 4 feet under a bobber with the same success.

Unfortunately with all the rain the lake level has made shore fishing difficult. A couple days without rain should bring the lake level back down to fishable levels.

Water level update: Tried to fish the lake yesterday (9/22) and the water has risen a great deal and continues to rise. As of right now the lake is not fishable from shore unless the water heads way up or way down. The lake has plenty of fish and anyone with a boat should still be able to get trout.

Water level update 9/27: Checked the lake today and the water level is starting to lower and the creek is no longer flowing. As of right now shore fishing would be possible but most likely unproductive.
