5/8/2011 11:49:00 AMI've had good luck here trolling size 4 or size 5 flatfish or kwikfish in the perch, frog, or crawfish patterns with just one large split shot to get the plug down and about 75' - 100' of line out (gets the plug down to about 20' deep and far enough behind the boat for the water to settle after the boat passes through it. Remove the treble hooks from the plugs and replace with a small swivel and a single gamakatsu octopus hook (size 2, 4 or 6 depending on the size of plug). You'll land more of what you hook.
