I was able to visit Patterson lake while camping near Winthrop and boy is this lake a nice one! Very beautiful scenery, big fishery, and has a very nice lodge called "Sun Moutain Lodge". I cought 2 Largemouth Bass and 2 Perch from shore. I didn't get to take my boat on this trip but, I will for sure be bringing it next time. This lake is a fishing lake through and through. Signs state that the lake is full of mixed species. The lake is stocked with Rainbows and Cutthroats each year and has Brown Trout, Dolly Varden, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Crappie, and Perch. Anglers are encuraged to keep all the Perch they catch in an effort to keep them under control. All the locals that I talked with said that there are lots of trophy sized fish of each species, especially the Bass, Trout and Walleye. I was only able to fish for about and hour and a half and didn't have my camera so sorry no pictures. This is a very nice lake, if you're in or around Winthrop check it out!
