I decided to take my pond prowler out and try this lake. I've fished from the dock a caught a few fish a couple times before. I started fishing along the trees and lilly pads near the boat launch. I caught a couple small LMB. Then I started fishing people's docks on the south end of the lake. I caught a fish I never seen before. Can anyone tell me what kind of fish is pictured below? What ever they are I was catching them off people's docks all day. I lost track how many I caught and released them all. There's alot of fish in this lake my fish finder was lit up almost the whole time.

eddie- my kids love to catch these... if you target the rock bass, try real worms. They love them ten to one over anything artificial. My guess is you were catching them by accident though :)

Pound for Pound I would say these Rock Bass will fight harder than a Largemouth or Smallmouth! Ive caught on in Lake Louise that was 11 inches and was about a pound and it fought hard!
