So we got on the water about 9:00 and started trolling. I put the wedding ring with red dangly threads coming off it and a worm trailing on the 10year olds pole. I had a green regular wedding ring and my buddy had an orange wedding ring. We trolled from the north end to the south end. About 5 min into it the 10 year olds pole pent in half. He realed in a healthy rainbow about 13-15 in long and pretty fat. About 30 min later the kid got another bit off the red wedding ring with dangly threads. Got it in the boat and continued trolling and had some bites but nothing in the boat. A couple hours went by of that then the bites died off completely. It wasnt till about 4:00pm that we got our next bite. It was off a worm on the bottom of the lake on the south end. Got him in the boat and turned out to be a little pan size rainbow. All in all a nice day on the lake with the boy catching 2 of the three fish.

As were loading the boat some people on the dock showed us their monster. Huge rainbow! at least 20+inches. Asked what they were using as bait..... Jumbo shrimp. Never would have thought of that but am going to try it next time. Good luck
