My brother and I had our first trip to Banks Lake and in the process of searching for good bass water we found an area that looked real good for trout fishing, the right depth and lots of fish showing on the finder. We were both realy impressed by the quality size trout in this lake and since we were there for bass and walleye fishing it truly was a great bonus to stumble upon some really great trout fishing as well.We will definately be back.Good Luck and tight lines

Silverking0,
Thanks for the question. We were using standard flashers and wedding ring with crawlers,I like dave davies flashers in chrome and 50/50 for overcast days.I tie my own spinners and use a lot of green, green and more green.we were just surface fishing with no weight.I spotted fish on my finder that truly blew me away,so I did some more research and found out that there are KOKANEE in this lake. Some of the fish I saw on my finder were HUGE and suspended in 22-70 ft.I was crying because I left my downriggers at home.If anyone has any luck with these monster fish I spotted PLEASE POST A PICTURE.Does anyone know anything about the kokes in this lake????Please if you read this let me know.By the way there is a picture on the wall in Big Walleys of a guy with a 10 lb RAINBOW caught out of Banks Lake.
