My friend Doug and I decided to go to Riffe and catch some Kokes ( LOL). We ended up each catching 2 ( 13"-15") Silvers and I caught 2 (14") rainbows. Boy is the meat pink on all the fish that we brought in. We ended up having to quit fishing at about noon when my motor died. I had a nice workout rowing my boat back to the park. I will add this lake to my list of places to fish.

what depth were you working? And which park did you pull out of? I've had some questions from other forum members and they would like some hints, we haven't made it to Riffe this year, that red meat fish is some great eating! Thanks for post. Bob R

Hey Bob R the fish seem to be on the east of the lake right now, atleast for me, I have launched at the Kosmos launch, been fishing about 7 - 15 ft deep..Last weekend we nailed themtrolling in circles by the fishing bridge with a slip sinker and a wedding ring tipped with a worm

Bob - The fish on the west end of the lake by Mossyrock Dam... were hugging close to the North shore about 1/2 mile up from the Dam. We were trolling faster than the other boats... probably 1.5 - 2.5 mph at 20 feet with Hoochies and Needlefish spoons and Rapalas. There were all kinds of boats doing different things and they were catching as well. I truly think the change in the weather around 2:00 yesterday on the lake got the fish biting. There wasn't any top water breaching to speak of in the morning, but when those clouds came in for a short while yesterday and the wind calmed.... those fish became active. --- good luck.
