well the wife and i thought we would have a nice time out fishing together, WRONG! we got there about 2 pm put the boat " 10' jon boat" in got the motor on and headed out. when to the left from the public boat ramp and droped anchor between the first and second dock, where i'd been caching gills before. write off the wife caught two nice ones and i caught one. then nothin, so i decided to troll a bit. i continued on aeound to the left past sandy beach but caught nothin. went on down to the first cove you come to and the motor died. so i fierd it back up and started to head back. i noticed that there was no water coming out the retern to keep the motor cool. so i thought i would baby it back stoping to let the motor cool as to not ruin the motor and it would not start again. luckly i had a small padle with me and i had to row half way across that lake.

so not much fishing, and we spent about four hours out there. and ended up with three blue gill. not a very good day, but at least we didnt get scunked.

I have done okay trolling original Rapallas in trout pattern. As for the paddle, I always have it with me when I head out fishing. You never know what could happen.
