Being that the rivers are blown out, I decided to do some casting with my fly rod at Bradley. Arrived there a little after 15:00, a few people fishing but not crowded. Found the gravel ramp nearest the dock with no one in it so went there to fish. After about 30 minutes or so, saw (and heard) an Osprey dive down into the water a few feet from shore infront of a group of people fishing about 10 yards to my left. Was real cool watching him catch his meal until one of the dudes decided to cast his bobber at the bird, hitting it, which caused it to fly away sans fish (WTF). Not long after, a buddy from the "group" arrives and decides that he wants to fish at the spot I was in, so he sets his lawn chair down and sets up camp 3 feet from me (did I mention I was chucking a fly rod?) and then complains that my back casts are getting close to him. Then Carlos (yes, that's his name, his buddies kept calling him) tries (and fails) to get his rod holder into the gravel bank which causes his pole to fall on me and into the water in front of me a couple times (did I mention he is 3 feet away from me). What the heck is this county coming to?
